The RSM is looking at introducing new FM frequencies and is calling for submissions on the proposed policy changes that will enable these new frequencies to be generated.

Go to:    http://www.med.govt.nz/rsm/index.html

and click on the button marked "WHATS NEW". Read the article entitled "VHF-FM Broadcasting: Frequency Availability and Allocation".

Not sure. I haven't heard the outcome. Mind you, I haven't been that interested in it really. No matter what happens with the FM band in NZ, most of the outcome depends on how big your chequebook is.

lol, my chequebook is not that big. Running a LPFM radio station as one of my hobbies makes sure of that. My other main hobbie being Airsoft, which also keeps me poor - but happy.
