I have not seen this covered here yet. (Although I may have missed it if it has been.)

I have always done talk radio. That being said, in the states its a law that all broadcasts be delayed with a control to cut out "unwanted" comments on live broadcasts.  They best way this is done is what a "Dump Button." Its a great unit that sits on the end of line to your transmitter audio source. It has a 8 sec delay (Sometimes 5 sec delay) and you adjust your clock 5 or 8 sec ahead. While taking live calls, if someone says something that could get your station in trouble for letting go to air, you can hit the dump button, and a audio file is played in place of what ever is said. (Bleeps it out) and you can disconnect the call or at least stop the caller from going any further with what they are saying.  (IE: Caller "That was some f**ked up sh*t!" -HIT DUMP BUTTON-    Air play.... "That was some...... ----CALL THE FIRST TIME CALLER LINE AT XXX-XXX-XXXX ----  Host "Ok you can not do that on air, im sorry, but we have to say goodbye.. Next call is Jason from...."

 You get the idea..

The problem is,, these dump button units are NOT CHEAP. And always in demand.. So.. we need a low cost solution?  Well here it is.. http://www.fountainware.com/Products/AudioDelay/index.htm

This is beautiful .  Put a PC in line just before your transmitter. With audio in coming in to the line in or mic in, with line out going to your transmitter, and have access to the "DUMP BUTTON." it records 5 or 10 or what ever you set it for audio, and then replays the dealy. If someone says something they are not supposed to, hit the dump button, wait for the system to buffer up the 5 sec (or what ever you have it set for) get rid of the caller and continue on.
Take control of your call in's and broadcasts for $0.00

Just a tip from Sencorp when it comes to controlling your live broadcasts! Hope this helps!

Cheers!
