I do hope RadioTech can help me on this one.

I see that the ST-15B is illegal to use due to it being able to radiate 1 or 15 watts output that is switchable externally.

I have one of these units here in South Africa and after losing a positive feed wire due to corrosion on the 12 volt battery, the unit had dropped to the 1 watt mode.

Could you please tell me how to get it back up to the 15 watt output.

Hi Esprit,

I have replied to your PM about the transmitter.

For others who may be reading this, I said that it's too difficult to offer specific advice based on the information given, and the unit dropping to 1 watt may not even be related to the corroding of the power feed.

These units are programmed using the front panel buttons. Loss of power, for long enough, will have resulted in loss of the memory settings.
