Hi Leejen,

Welcome to the NZ LPFM site.

Thanks for your post and the info. Do you have a URL for the software provider?

Regards.

I have and use Rivendell which is FREE No Charge and has a music scheduler and voice tracking and the ability to download and rebroadcast news or programmes.

System can record and broadcast simultaneously, has audition or cue channels.

absolute newby here starting up a station here at Taihape Area School on 88.1fm. Would be interested in any ideas to try; probably going to use Zara Radio 1.6 - free and seems to do most of what we need.

I have been looking at Rivendell and it looks like the ideal software for a LPFM station, although I have one problem. How the heck do you download it!? I have been looking through their download page and can't figure it out. Help please!!

Go here: http://www.rivendellaudio.org/rivendell/download.shtml and download either the tar.gz or the zip file in the source code section.

I don't know Linux but I think from what I have seen of it, the tar.gz file is known to the system and self installs. I may well be wrong, but either one of those files should get you an install.
